Pulp. Relight

'Designing light with an eco-friendly material.'

Welcome to Pulp Design, where I have designed a range of lamps made from solid cardboard, showcasing the versatility and beauty of this unique material. I conceptualize each design through renders, to simulate the look and feel of the product.

I utilized solid sheets of cardboard, which inspired me to develop a system of interlocking ribs that form the basis of each lamp design. This allows for easy assembly and disassembly, but still a solid design.

I have already created several small prototypes of our lamps, each one demonstrating the potential and functionality of the material used. Many within my network have expressed their interest in purchasing these designs.

Hopefully, there will come a time when I can further conceptualize and develop these ideas, allowing them to find a place in the consumer market.

3D-Drawing

Using SolidWorks, I was able to create 3D designs that allowed me to envision and refine each aspect of my product.

Rendering

By using Vizualize and Keyshot, I was able to render my designs in photorealistic detail, allowing me to assess the visual impact and make any necessary adjustments.

Prototyping

I used a laser cutter to create prototypes that helped me test the functionality and design of my product, allowing me to make any necessary changes before moving into production.

Design

Through the use of various iterations and prototypes, I was able to weigh the pros and cons of different design choices.
